My New Taillight Overlays

I just got my new taillight overlays from www.bluebatmobile.net and in my opinion they came out great and i would highly recommend this for people who don't want to spend a ton of money on new taillights. I put these overlays right over my stock tails and now my taillights look like the came like that. Tell me what u think.......

I like it. The only thing that throws it off in my opinion is how the greish lines are not perfectly parallel to each other...not exactly straight, makes it look a little home made

you're right the greish lines aren't perfectly straight so i am thinking abou removing them because i like the look with just the blacked out part it came in two pieces so its pretty easy to remove

not bad for a cheap alternative to new lights. how easy was the install? i hear they're pretty annoying to get them to stick even, without air bubbles

Not difficult at all. It took me about 30-35min I used water and soap to stick overlay on then i used a heat gun and a wedge card (i think thats what it is called) to push all the air bubbles out and it sticks instantly. Heat gun is the best thing to use with applying overlays. If you cannot do it yourself almost all tint shops put on overlays as well

Cover the chrome strips black. Paint the emblems black. Get the 07-08 rear bumper. Would blend nicely with the tails. Paint the wheels black too.

Would look much better if the strips were not there. I think the general pattern works though

IMO, just keep the tail lights stock. Those would look better on a black car but even then...........

you have to email him, it sometimes takes a week for bluebat to respond. i have the same overlays without the silver stripes and match my car color, dark slate. He can make them to match your car color.

But like others have said, if YOU'RE happy with it. It doesn't matter if WE like it or not.

Thank you!! I made the roof spoiler using a Mazda3 trunk spoiler that I molded to the window - check my thread on that. The trunk spoiler is a Subaru WRX spoiler. I now have one in carbon fiber thats on the trunk.

The 6th generation Maximas seem to have some nice aftermarket tails compared to the 5.5. But this one I'm not feeling....

Honestly, your car would look a ton better with some simple ebay blacked LED tail lights. These I'm not feeling at all.
