aftermarket spoilers OEM style

I cracked a pedestial on my spoiler while removing those heavily rusted mounting bolts. A new OEM spoiler is well over a half grand so I'm searching for a used OEM that I'll repaint or an aftermarket spoiler. After searching for days I found most aftermarket spoilers have different mounting holes. The local salvage yards had nothing to offer. I searched ebay again today and found these aftermarket spoilers that claim to be OEM certified factory replacable:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/PAINT...ts_Accessories

I asked them if the mounting holes on the pedestials match the OEM spoiler and am waiting to hear back.

Could I really get an aftermarket spoiler that's pre-painted and OEM certified replacable for only $179? Has another memeber purchased one of these spoilers from SHORTANTENNA?

It's hard to know for sure, but the page you posted the link for says so.

Edit: I also looked through about a hundred reviews from spoiler purchases from this seller, and they all seemed please with paint and fitments.

I always liked the 01 galant spoiler on a max; mounts almost perfectly. There's a link to it in the howto section.

Weird the junkyards around the Baltimore area have tons of maximas. What color are you looking for. Local yard charges 50 (I think). Pull it yourself place.

This ebay seller claims it macthes an OEM spoiler and will easily mount thru the existing holes. I just purchased it so when I get it sometime next week I'll take pictures and let you guys know how well it matches the OEM.

A week after making that ebay purchase the order still wasn't processed yet so I cancelled the order. I purchased from another ebay seller that stated the middle pedestals lined up to the trunk holes but the outer pedestals do not. I paid less than $80 because it was only primed. I painted it myself.
The bolts mounting the middle pedestals were smaller than the OEM bolts so I had to use larger washers. The outer pedestals don't line up so I drilled holes then cut on the inside with the dremel to acess those holes.
I painted the trunk and the spoiler with the paint I had made at NAPA. To avoid future rusting I coated them with several layers of wax a week after painting. The spoiler brake light works fine.

Since it wasn't a time consuming nor struggling task it was worth saving hundreds of dollars on this aftermarket spoiler.
