3.5 motor $400

What's up guys,

I recently did a swap on my 2002 6speed max and I have the old motor FS. The motor has 190k. When it was on the car it started up just fine however it jumped timing as my mechanic said. Since I could not find a mechanic to put it back on timing I was forced to do a swap. Motor comes with everything you see in the picture exept alternator and O2 sensors.

This would be a good project motor for a 4th gen or to build it.

Reach me via PM if your interested and with money in hand.

Do you know what caused this motor to jump time? Timing chain fatigue? Broken teeth on cam sprocket? Thank you Stillen Maxima.

The certified Nissan mechanic said that the owner didn't do the oil change on time. For some reason he said that happened to several 3.5's at the dealer

Hey phatboislim...I never knew an oil change was that serious either. I took my 02 Maxima to a Nissan dealer for the first time last year. The first question out of his mouth was "Did you ever wait more than 3k miles between oil changes? I mean ever."

I was very surprised at his comment. He insisted on doing an oil flush on my cars motor even after I reassured him that I am very consistent with oil changes. I think they know something that they aren't telling us.
