That'll fit but that's not an electric one, you have to open it manually which is a huge negative in my book.

$150? Do some research because I've seen a maxima dyno where the cut-out didn't do jack.

well i had the flex pipe brake on me and ran open headers for a few weeks and i loved it. on Halloween id cruise in 1st gear at 20mph and just smash the gas and let off and it would scare the hell out of everyone. in plus it felt like it pulled much harder when it was open.

Cut outs are better for F/I applications. On a N/A Max with bolt ons it does next to nothing, if that.

A cutout on a NA application will do next to nothing for you.

LOL at liking to scare people with it...

New Maxima owner but I have had electric cutouts on two of my previous rides, my last one was on my 95 chevy and loved it, from dumped exhaust to open header was awesome.. Not sure how will sound on our motors especially without mods but still fun to play with imo..

I've used cutouts from here http://www.dmhperformance.com/ every time and never had problems, good quality,

You install it inline of your exhaust after Header or Headers depending on application, when open it bypasses the normal flow and restrictions exhaust systems can have. Thus giving different power gains, once again depending on application and motor. And just sounds good on large or built motors

I ran one, but Im boosted. I eventually got rid of it. It was just too loud and annoying. Everytime I opened it it reminded me of an old beat up truck. The tone was not a nice deap one and Im running Cattman headers. I did see a small increase in power on the dyno with it, but the torque is even more.
This is the unit I had,....

You will have to have it welded up in place, I had it wleded up to a straight pipe and mounted in place of the cat. Space is tight under the car, very tight.
