Eibach Alignment Kit (Camber kit)

I'm going to be replacing my blown suspension in the next month or so. Ive got my eyes on some KYB AGX struts and Eibach or Progress Springs. A friend asked me if i needed a camber kit and I had no idea. I searched around, now I'm asking.

Do I need to get a camber kit, front, back, both, in order to get aligned properly after I lower the car?

camber kit

I had same camber kit. I got it aligned and the camber in spec with it on my 2.5" drop.

However, I redid my suspension last weekend without the camber bolts and I am getting around -2 degrees of camber on the front wheels. I actually like it alot, my handling is alot sharper. Tire wear is more of a factor of the combination of toe, castor, camber, and thrust angle, and so I will be hoping to get my toe and castor in speec, leaving the aggressive camber.

I also don't trust crash bolts!

^ How does one go about adjusting their caster? Mine are within spec, but BARELY, i'd like to have it more evenly set but AFAIK the only things you can adjust on the stock setup is the front toe.

A. You just need two bolts (comes in the kit I got), one for the left and right side.
B. You can't do jack **** about our rear alignment
C. Depends on how low the drop is, lower you go, more neg camber our suspension set up adds, with my 2" drop I didn't need to have the camber kit put on to be within spec... I just wanted moar!!
D. I completely forgot I installed my camber bolts until I saw this thread.

-1.5 camberz got me ridin hella flush y0!! (rears are -1.2)

If your really that low I would guess you have coilovers which you wouldn't need camber bolts

put them on for the extra $$$ so the guy that doing your alignment cant say "you need a camber kit for $100 more."

They are cheap! You wouldn't put a new sway bar without changing the bushings?

That doesnt really apply. Camber bolts arent needed for a stock suspension, and from the looks, people say arent needed for light lowering. Im buying them anyway

you should not need them. I had ground controls, which to the best of my knowledge is as low as you can go with out a full coilover or cutting your springs and I was able to be aligned with out camber bolts or slotting the struts.

I just lowered my car and went to get the alignment. I used KYB GR-2s and Ksport springs. I have to get a camber kit. It doesnt help that right after lowering it that the wheel bearing exploded on my front right wheel. Replaced that only to go back to the allignment shop to find out i also need the spindle! FML. moral of the story.... I need camber bolts.

I ended up getting the camber bolts and used them with my drop. Good thing I did b/c the alignment guy said it needed them bad.

I actually found someone who will put a 50,000 mile warrenty on tires (245/40/18). So i have to have everything in check for them to honor the warrenty. This is becoming rediculous. Tires are expensive to allignement is VERY important to me.

Make sure this is happening on ALL roads and not only certain ones, road crowing will make your car pull to the right.

My car pulls to the right on certain roadways, but on highways (elevated roadways) it stays straight because the road crowning is less severe.
