Need Bumper Opinions!!! 95 or 97. Which one?? Arg...

So frustrated. I need to get a new front bumper for the 96 I have. Priced out bumpers, I can get a 95 or a 97 for both the same price. I need to see some pics of your cars. I plan on doing a lower lip, just want pics to compare with. Any suggestions guys? Which one do you all like the best? I plan on keeping the 96 grille. The 97 reminds of too much of a Altima. haha

Thanks guys!! Paul

If you keep the 95-96 grill and use a 97-99 bumper the grill will have to be modified to fit the bumper.

there is a reason most 95-96 maximas have a 97+ bumper. 95/96<97+

97-99 bumper with 95-96 grille.

there is no modification needed for that, I'm not sure what flava is referring to unless he is just talking about the increased gap between the two. i didn't have to modify mine...

Because some won't dare to be different or original and follow silly "trends" instead?

'95-'96 > '97-'99

hey guys, speaking of opinions, what am I going to need to get a rear bumper back on my car? I have the trunk, lid and everything but for my lower rear, I only have the bumper support. Am I gonna need all that styrofoam or can I just throw a bumper back on without that?

I used to feel the same way, and still do for the most part but Ive seen some 95-96 front ends that looked so killer!

This one is awesome,...

but a FMIC tends to make any bumper look good,

Yes, altering the grill to fit the bumper (glose the gap)

Flava, is that picture with or without the gap-closin' modification? I love the '95-'96 grille, but I don't like the bumper and a full swap is too expensive anyway.

If that photos is with the modification, has anyone got any pictures of the swap with the gap?

I cut the posts off another grill and had a body shop fuse them together and then paint it for me.
