I live in one of the more "moisture rich environments" where it reaches dewpoint at least 330 days of the year so based on your observations, I got curious and checked mine out. So far, none of the lights (mirror or otherwise) show that condensation (although my bride's Jeep does or rather did until I changed out the headlamp assembly a few weeks back.) Definitely not typical on my Max.

If there is a problem, I know that prying out the plastic cover is next to impossible. Dealer will have to order a whole new mirror assy. to fix it. Happened to my passenger side one a week after delivery!

So you 2 guys who had your passenger side mirror replaced, they did that with no hiccups, and by hiccups I mean no frustration or damage to the car

Nope, just took it in and said there's water in the signal in the mirror. Compared it to the driver's side and no problems. No problems with the car after either!

The mirror holds alot of water and condensation could occur if you run your car through car washes. The passenger side jets have more psi and could get in under the led cover. In the meantime I have made a small 1/4 hole directly under the pivot point of the mirror on both sides to help drain out the water that collects after any type of washing. Seem to be working.

Had driver's side replaced about three weeks ago. Because of moisture. You have me wondering now, did they replace just the lens or the complete mirror. will have to inquire. Seems a bit extravagant to replace the mirror. Checked for any chips if LED lens was just replaced everything seems fine. hmmmm?

Hey, I got my car last Friday and I was already at the dealer Monday with the same issue. Both my turn signals on the mirror have condensation. They had to order them -_- for me. I live in Miami and its been raining a lot recently, so I hope this isn't going to be a big hassle.

I just washed my car yesterday and today i noticed i've got the same problem with my passenger side mirror signal. For those of you who have had the mirror replaced, have you noticed the same thing happening again? I'm just wondering if they improved the replacement mirror so it wont happen again.

Since I have had mine replaced I have had no problems. I would say the first mirror was replaced about 8-9 months ago.

Forgot to update on my situation, the dealer I took my car to said it was normal, and that they only replace them if it is past a certain amount of moisture accumulation

Guess I will wait until next oil change, and ask again
