Link to WSP subframe install PICs

Here's a link to some PICs of the install of our subframe connectors on Matt93SE's car. PICs of the stage 2 cross bracing will be posted in a few days. This link can't be found on our web site. First shipment goes out on Wed.

Matt promised to post a little later.

WSP subframes

Around 25 lbs for stage 1. The tubes are thick.

"We also put a set on the WarpSpeed 96SE which will get the Stage 2 this week. To me it feels like a combination of swaybar and fstb all in one." - From the WSP Site

That really sounds nice. So it tightens the car up alot then huh? Will you still be able to attach a rear sway bar on there?

Huge improvement on both stock and modded suspensions. I was the first one to drive the 96 and my 93 after the subframes were installed.. the 4th gen felt a LOT better than the stock boat. also had 16" wheels on it with 225/55/16s, but the road fell was much improved over the other 4th gens I've drivn in the past.

And yes, you'll be able to keep the rear sway bar on, asccording to Dallas. he said theyll be putting it back on their 96 this week sometime.

This might be of interest to me. Can I be a volunteer for testing the stage II?

No. these MUST be installed on a 4-post drive on lift. They have to be welded on. they cannot be bolted on. If you're concerned about removing them if/when you sell the car, the SFCs can be easily taken off in your garage with a 4" disc grinder. Then just spray some new undercoater over the spots on the frame they were connected.
If you drill to install them, you'll have to drill completely through the floorboard of the car and into the cabin.. then you'll have to remove your seats and pull up the carpet in the interior just to get to the bolts. not a fun thing to do.

As for why they must be installed on a lift is because the frame will flex on a 2 post lift, or simple jackstands. have you ever tried to open your door while you had the left front of the car jacked up? if you install the SFCs like that, the car will be stuck like that until you remove the SFCs.
