I have a 00 SE and my rear deck lid has a hole in it where the bose subwoofer was. I don't have the plastic cover that goes over the hole.

My problem is that I am getting a lot of rattling noises coming from the hole in the deck. It sounds like it could possibly be the trunk latch but there are other things that are making sounds too. Anybody have any ideas? I was going to dynamat the deck and trunk and see if that helps.

 

You may want to search around the forums for the answer. I think someone took the time to rip apart the entire rear of the car to find that it was the seatbelt anchors and posted his findings.
