anyone to help me with oovi?

soo....im doing my research, and havent found the exact thread to get my answer...i know its there somewhere but ugh....
I KNOW im going to do the 00vi swap on my 97 se soon....like...as soon as i find one good price soon...but i need to know what all i need...uim, lim, tb, fuel rail setup with injetors,..do i need 5th gen ecu etc??
and my 2nd question..*more important question*...is there anyone in the baltimore area that would be willing to help me do the swap that has done it already..like meet up one day...swap it etc cuz its more beneficial for me to do it with a person who has experience witha 4th gen so i can ask questions and get good answeres....that way in the future, im not asking stupid questions like this thanks in advance!

No. You do NOT need a new ECU, all you need is a way to actuate the Valve that flips over the runners. You can use a simple Window Switch or something as elaborate as the VAFC2. Also, the VI swap is easy, but your going to need to spend some cash on gaskets, also do your Valve Covers while your in there.
