How do you lock up the flywheel?

I'm taking my auto back to stock and need to put the stock pulley back on. I can't do the starter blip method to loosen the pulley bolt because I sold my VB to someone and waiting for them to send theirs back - so I don't want to risk turning the engine on without the VB on the tranny. I couldn't figure out how to lock the flywheel without likely messing up the gears. Any suggestions? Anybody done this succesfully?

So you don't think this will mess up the tranny - I'll give it a shot. Thanks!

i offer no guarantees, but since hte car won't even be started and it will be in park it shouldn't. just do it once and do it quick.

Gotcha - well in that case I'll wait till I get the VB back and installed. Thanks.
