issue: side view mirrors

i tried searching this but kept coming up with random threads....

my wife drove the car yesterday and had the second memory preset selected....well when i got in the car today and pushed the 1st memory preset, i noticed my side view mirrors don't angle down when i put it in reverse.... why's that ? and what can i do to get them to angle down in reverse???

Flip the mirror switch out of the middle. I don't remember which direction, so try both.

Doesn't matter which side as long as it is not in the middle. Itried both - works the same way.

Wait so keeping the switch in the middle disables the auto-down feature on reverse?

I had this same issue the second week i had my car, I was so worried that maybe it was the motor in the mirror, but I looked it up in the owners manual.

Must admit, I had this happen to me early on and looked it up on the manual - besides, I figured with all the goodies in the SV+Prem+Tech Package - there's a lot to learn with our cars
