Help! Mt AC clutch/pulley went out need a new one!

Does anyone know where I can buy the pulley and clutch assembly WITHOUT buying the compressor assembly? I simply cannot find the part online or anything...

I don't think you can separate them on 4th and 5th gen Maximas, at least without a reall big press and some special tools. There are some used A/C units in ebay for about a hundred bucks.

How many miles on it when it went out?

Locate a reputable AC repair shop (NOT a dealer or shop that only jerks units).......it should be able to help you. I easily found one here that had all the rebuild parts including the pulley bearing.

almost 170k You can separate them it isn't too hard...much easier than installing the whole compressor assembly
