Searched and I fail. Wheel size/fitment??

I have a friends son who ran off the road in his 2000 Max (I am unsure of the model)

He tore up one of his wheels and new tires.

He said he went to the JY's and couldnt find a new wheel. He said the wheels on his car are steel.

I am thinking that any steel wheel will fit as long as its 5x114.3 am I correct in this?

Thanks in advance for answering a silly question but one that needs an answer to.

Ok, I am just wondering why he couldnt find a wheel (We have like 5 jy's within about 1/2 hour of each other.

I think he may be angling for aftermarkets, but he is a punk and treats his parents like crap.

If I can just get a stock steel wheel and they can get a new tire mounted on it that would be cool.
