Nice! its always good to hear people still have these as dailies. Of course there are the OG modders about but the only mod I have done to mine is change out some lights and threw in a strut bar. 196K and still running. Though leaking oil from the valve covers, easy enough to swap. Keep it running Maxima Brother!

Hey, glad to hear I'm not the only one. Bought her new in Nov 98 and 172k later and still kicking strong as my daily driver too.

Wish I could work on her but the 18" of snow we got on Sunday/Monday stalled the plans for a little bit.

Purchased new in March 1999, 175,000 miles later it's still a DD.
I've only seen a check engine on 2x, both times for coil packs. Other then that, it's like the energizer bunny. Just keeps on running and running and running...

My old '96 was in my family since '98, sold it earlier this year at 232K and it was still driven away by the new owner and I'm sure it's still around somewhere.

Bought my '99 in '05 with 70K on it and put 230k miles on it. Got rear-ended tonight.

sorry to hear that. I am afraid that will happen to my car one day. I love my maxima. 146K and just drove it on a 500 mile road trip with out a single problem and got 240 miles to 8.2 gallons of mid grade gas . . . WOW

My neighbor owns a 2000 528i. The battery failed him just DAYS after his warranty expired. Twice he put a new battery in, and each time, it failed him after a month. He moved to New Jersey, but they havent sold their old house yet, and that car's just chillin since no one would take it from him. What a shame...

Simply one more reason to own a Maxima.
