Cattman Cold Air Intake

For those curious about it, this is a video of the product on the vehicle as well as some fly bys. Nothing Big.

It seems to get me through first and second gear faster

Yes they are, brian explained it to me. I forgot what the criteria is for an intake to be considered a place racing, but it meets all of them. What I best recollect them to be is 1) must be routed away form engine compartment and into the fender, close to the ground, where temps are drastically lower 2) and something about the length and bend of the tubing which affects pressure and other factors.

CAI is basically any intake that draws air that is not warmed or effected by the heat under the hood. It can come from a number of places.

You ever have any trouble with water since this is routed down close to the ground?

Not at all, there is a plastic cover, that is part of the bumper, underneath the filter that protects it from rain, snow, and whatever. I've read on numerous forums that in order to hydrolock, the filter needs to be COMPLETELY SUBMERGED and be sucking in for water for idk how long, but if it is in that state I'm sure it won't take long to do so.

Sorry lol, and thanks! This is probably the best CAI for this car, but not the easiest to install from what I hear - I didn't install it.

Not hard to install at all but understandable that it isnt the easiest like say a drop in or a sri lol. Very straight forward even the cutting through the fender part.
