Gear indicator on dash?

If I put lights in there, will it work? I see there are spots for it when I pulled the gauge cluster out. Who sells the black plastic covers that have the center open between the speedo and tach so I can see what gear I'm in. I always liked having this light up in my last car.

So is ur car auto or 5spd? I have an auto and I don't have a gear indicator on my cluster. Did the autos come like this (with no indicator) or did the previous owner might of put a 5spd speed frame?

This is what happens when people don't search...there is an extensive 3 or 4 page thread on this...

Indeed, when search fails you here, go to...

www.google.com

Then enter your keywords, and add "site:maxima.org" to the end of it.
