bryan from apc emailed me today and he said hell need the cluster for the gauges and also he will be working on some other things if anyone is interested

That's wonderful so does this mean that we could possible have some indiglow guages for the max.

so when they say they need a cluster does that mean one of us has to provide that?

 

something like that..

go to a junkyard and pick up a set for $30 and then you'll have an extra if you ever decide to switch back to stock gauges.

 

im guessing that someone has to send them in a gauge cluster so they can get the dimensions

anyone wanna call them up to find out?

 

brian e-mailed me the other day and said that they should be coming out with clear tails for the max. he didnt know when they were supposed to come out though.

 

I'm not sure what that would look like at all. I guess it would be interesting. Some cars look good with them some dont. Thats cool that they are starting to make stuff for our cars though.

i was specifically talking third gen. he said they are coming out with the tails for all the cars that they make clear corners for. cuz one of the questions i had for him was why they made clear corners but not clear tails. i dont expect them anytime soon though and wouldnt keep my hopes up.

 

didnt get a response for mine but as long as someone did thats great...did anybody mention the black lite bulbs or just the indiglow gauges on their emails

 

are they going to make the clear trunk piece with those clear tails?
cause otherwise i think they'd look pretty F***ed up.

 

if they do make them of course they'll make the trunk piece. i dont think they're that stupid. and did you guys know that they made clear tails for the toyota previa minivan, but not for a popular car like the max. whats up with that? i asked brian that but he didnt answer it. so we'll see what happens.

 

There is a guy that is talking about a group deal on the indiglo gauges for 3rd through 5th generations. Only thing is he says he needs 50 people from each style to want them. I don't know of the validity of the deal but if it's real I'm jumping in. Check it out on group deals.

 

i have been trying to email APC about making us some projector headlights. i think they would look great on our maximas. i havent gotten any reply from them. im gonna try to call them tomorrow. i'll keep you all posted as to what happens.

 

Like i said i'm here to support anyone who is trying to make moves in getting things made for our maxes.As you all know i'm for the indiglow gauges 100% but i will help out and support the head lights and tail lights that you guys want for our cars.If we all look at it this way we all benefit from it because the more support the more products they will make for our cars,so count me in aight guys.O and one more thing for anyone who is in for the indiglow gauges don't forget to find out if they can make black light gauges for our maxes (maxima would be the first to have this)so we can have indiglows as well as black light gauges for our maxes,the more choices the better.

 

yeah if apc comes out and makes some stuff for max's others will follow.

 

wouldn't projector lights just look like the BMW 3 series lights?

 

not necessarily. they could do it a bunch of different ways, but it would fit nicer and bolt right up!

 

no, they would actually look right on our car, and fit correctly. if you look at when people swap for the 3series, they do not look exactly right. the headlights do not line up with the corner lenses corectly, and the lens on the bmws are tinted. it just doesnt look that great to me.
