Best audio playback?DVD audio,MP3,ETC?
Since the MAX has a few different options for audio playback I want to know which is the best method? The reason I ask cause I found a old DVD that I must have made years ago with all music video's on it and it sounded best over any other type of format I have been using.XM always sounds clear and clean but slightly attenuated compared to my BT,MP3/RADIO/CD/iPOD.And so far the store bought CD's sound the second best over the above mentioned.
Antone convert or record music in the DVD audio format? What is the best qaulity you all have been finding works and how did you go about it?

In my opinion you get the best audio quality from either a regular audio CD or a CD with high quality (256 kbps or higher) MP3's.
I use the RCA (white/red/yellow) jacks plugged into my Droid Incredible to stream audio/video via the AUX input. I definitely have to crank the volume much more when doing this to get the same volume levels I get from a CD or the Music Box. Since I'm cranking it you end up hearing a "hiss" in the background...annoying to people who are really into music. I still use it though when I'm tired of my music and want to listen to Pandora or something.
For the music I own though, I ended up taking old fashioned audio CD's and ripping them to the Music Box in the car. If it's a real CD and not some pirated burn then it pulls all the song titles and everything too. The Music Box is a little irritating to navigate but at least I have all my music with me and don't have to change out CD's. The audio quality is also great and I can usually keep it at half volume and it's still blasting, with no background hiss.

CD sounds the best from what I can tell. However, the vast majority of my music is ripped CDs sitting on my iPod. I went totally digital for my music a few years ago and I have not looked back.
I do not consider myself an audiophile. So, I do not have to have the absolute best quality audio in my car. Let's face it, a car is not the best environment for enjoying music. All due respect to those who spend tens of hours and hundreds of dollars getting their car audio system to the point where it would put many premium home systems to shame but I am done with that. I change cars too often to keep repeating that process. I am more interested in a car audio system that offers me source options with adequate sound quality. Nissan did a great job delivering that in the 2010+ Maxima. Nissan was on the right track with the 2009 Maxima but the additions put into place in the 2010 delivered.
