Looking to replace my red plastic + battery terminal cover...

Cracked in the cold while I was jumping someone (the max always starts). Anyone know where I could find a replacement besides the stealership? Anyone have one? Thanks!

Or you could just forget about it.

Had mine off for two years. Never had an issue.

That thing is missing on my car as well.
It's on my list next time I'm at the dealership...

This from a guy who spent how much time and effort to change the color of his dash lights and polish the intake manifold?

The cover may not be entirely worthless; could prevent shorting-out the battery should a tool accidently contact + terminal and any grounded part under the hood.

Just my $0.02...

Yeah, but my point is the PRICE. I probably spent like $25 on everything I needed for my LED jobs and IM polishing.

$15 for some pretty piece of plastic under the hood? Hell, yeah! That's a no-brainer. (Well, for me, at least.)

But seriously... protect your positive lead, and color-match that pretty Merlot Maxima.

I agree, Rochester.
I spent $20 just to replace the wrinkled hamburger on my engine cover, $15 on the
+ terminal cover is cheap.

Troop, it all starts with the engine cover burger. And then you're hooked.

Good luck.
