squeaking motor mount... i think

Ok so here is what i have. Roads in Mass lately are uneven and horrible. When the car is cold i dont hear the squeaking sound too much. Once it is warm and driven for 10 min and it get on uneven bad roads the squeaking comes and it sounds like there are 20 mice under the hood. It sounds like it is on the pass side and sounds like a rubber squeak just loud enough to hear inside the car. SO this morning i got the pass door open, stepped on the floor and bounced the car like crazy. Low and behold it is coming from the pass motor mount near the strut tower. WD40d it and the squeak is gone for now. Now i know it will come back...once the wd40 is dried out. Has anyone had this problem? Am i able to buy a replacement bushing from say ES or whatever? Anyone else had this and solved the problem, it is so annoying hearing this constant squeak. Oh i have a 03 GLE with the heated seats and St wheel.. do i have the electric MM's?

If you have an automatic transmission, you will have the elecrtic motor mounts. Standard transmission models do not. The idea behind the electric motor mounts was to have a soft mount at idle to help absorb vibrations from the engine and then become firm for driving. The change-over happens at about 1000 rpm.

The photos on the link you gave don't show any wires, so I have to assume those are the manual transmission models. You can use the non-electric ones, they are 100% interchangeable. You just may (or not) feel more vibrations at idle. As to why the listing does not include the GLE model, I don't know. Maybe Nissan made all GLE models as autotransmission.

The RH (passenger side) mount and the LH (tranny side) mount are not "electronic". They are standard neoprene mounts.
