OK wanted to keep this as spare, but a few things i need the cash for so ill post it incase it sells.

tranny came off a totaled 99 w 97k miles when i got it last yr from a yard in PA. Put about 20k through it. Shifts just fine, not grinds, nothing, but it does slightly leak on the driver side axle. maybe half a quart every 3-4 months. reason for sale is due to a few visits at the track, i need lsd. car makes good power w the 3.5 and i need traction. i would not hesitate to put this back on my car if my lsd poped!!

Do you know why it leaks from the driver's side axle opening? If it's merely due to a bad axle seal, I am interested. Is there any indication that the input shaft bearing could be going, e.g., a noise when the car is in neutral that goes away when the clutch is depressed?

I work in DC and could pick the transmission up. Thanks!

for those needing a trans, i found one at a yard. Car had 198k but the box has been resealed silicone(would assume parts have been replaced to what extent dont know), car had many mods, i pulled it. looking for 350 obo and will come with a 45 day warranty from the yard not me. it went into every gear smoothly

 

second trans sold!! lock it up
