I guess these dealers are kinda sensing the increase in demand, one dealer had a 2010 s base with 26k miles priced at 19,999 and now another dealer bought it and priced it at 24,999....wowsers!

another dealer has a 2009 S base with 40k miles with a former price all they way down at 17,900 and now it's priced at 22,900 !!

another dealer at a 2010 S base with 25k miles priced at 21,900 and now it's 22,900.

ok that was my price report for now!

 

All this lets us know is that the Max is catching on.

 

There are some used A35's for sale locally here in the Seattle area, not a ton though that I can find.

I just picked up my 09' SV with Sport Package with 7500 miles for $26,500 and that was the best price I had found for that setup locally for that low of miles. Next closest was one with similar miles and same options but they wanted $29k and fought to go much below $28k. There are some SV w/ sport package in the 30-40k mile range for around $26k.

Some base S ones start in the low $20k range, but only one or two in that range, the rest seem to start at $24k and go up.

 

u got a good deal for a SV hopefully it had navi.

ya these dealers seems to have a good feel on the demand, I'm afraid they will have to lower the price back down to 18-19k before anyone really grabs them.

Here is a 2010 black on black SV near DC only 2,800 miles for $26,995.

 

I actually got a really good deal on my A35 last month. $24,400 for an '09 SV Sport/Tech. I was in an '07 Altima 3.5 SE Tech and pretty comfortable, not looking for a new car, but this deal was too good to pass up! Best impulse buy I've ever made, but I'd been around the block a few times now and took a lot of things into consideration before I pulled the trigger. I also pay half as much in interest compared to the last loan.

 

used car prices are hard to judge, especially in different regions but my home in NY/NJ Maximas hold their value pretty well, not to mention 9 out of 10 are clad with leather seats

but an S with nothing on it will obviously cost less then a sport or premium

 

The dealers are only raising prices to match the factory customer cash offers. If they didn't raise their prices they would have to lose profits. Go in and offer to buy the car at the previous price and any unsuspecting consumer would think they got a deal when in fact they just paid to much.

 

Bad side to most of those used S's at dealers used car lots is that they are former rental cars.....I looked at the car faxes that they post on some of the used S's at dealers lots and almost all of them had fleet sales on the original title work. People will not pay those prices for used examples as you can get a great deals on new S's etc.

Definitley, but once the refreshed 7.5 comes out its going right back down.

 

nissan doesn't really do drastic mid model changes, so I doubt it will be very different. I think only a hybrid or diesel version will plumment our maxima's value.

but gotta give it up to nissan for coming out with such a great car, and for the juke, cube and 370z!! toyota has nothing on nissan in terms of pushing the limits and coming up with fresh things. Nissan is the closest thing to the germans as any japanese car manufacturer will ever be.

 

Yea, Toyota's lineup sucks, they dont have anything I can picture myself driving. Talk about the most boring cars you can get. Lexus doesnt impress me much either. Maybe the GS350 or IS-F, but the IS-F is the same price as an e92 M3 and the C63. I think Toyota needs to add a sporty car to it's lineup instead of building small super sedans under it's luxury brand that no one's buying.
