Yellow Foglight Capsules

Found these on ebay. There are still 7 pairs left. I know there has been alot of discussion about these for foglights. I bought a set the other day.

It says Acura Integra. But, it's made for a H3 bulb. Which is what is in our foglights. Anywho, thought I would share.

I've bought from that guy before, he's a good seller. Those capsules will work though for our fogs since they're meant for H3's like you said and $20 is good considering that it comes with the hardware too. Good find!

Thanks Chris!

I got a quick question? When I go to insert these, Do I need to dremel out the hole or something!?! I can't quite tell how they work just by the pictures....From what I remember the hole was small on the lense...or does that part of the lense come out? Thanks!

I think the Integra has a slot for the metal base of the capusle to fit into. People who retro this open up the fog, and put this within the little shield that is inside the fob. using that shield to wedge this in. Please chime in, if anyone has any clarification.

Yea, I broke a capsule and cut my finger. But, I did get to clean the inside of the fog and remove the glare guard. Lol!

Seeing as OEM fogs are so tough to get apart and most fail trying, you can dremel them apart then epoxy them back together when done.

^ Dremel huh? Good to know. I may end up doing so if I cant push the glare guards down for my hid install. And while Im in there, I might just paint it black inside......

If you need to push your glare shield foward just use a screwdriver through where the bulb goes, that should do the job.

They aren't that tough to get apart baking. 170 degrees for 10 minutes. I pulled them apart with ease.

i might try that tomorrow. i dont want to dremel anything, so if i dont go the baking route i might just give up on the yellow capsules altogether.

if i do give up, does anyone want them?

also, on a completely unrelated topic......clear corners. where can i score some? ive done plenty of searches and i saw one site i think paradox systems and they were $100. for clear corners my 5th gen clears were like 20 bucks. and i dont want the rear clears, red is fine back there. anyone got some info? itd be much appreciated.

I've always thought the foglight capsules looked better than the 3000K HID bulbs. Unfortunately, the HID ends up having a disgusting greenish cast to it. Or at least it did in my experience.
