Variable capacity muffler still used?
Hey guys, I've been running an '02 Max muffler also on my '93 Altima project car to help flow some (small t25 turbo) while keeping it pretty quiet. After a few years, it's starting to fall apart like the '01 muffler before it.
Is Nissan still using the variable capacity muffler (despite the dual exhaust setup) and if not, when did they stop if anyone knows? I like the sound and quiet of the OEM muffler but don't want to spend money on a near 10year old muffler from a salvage yard that's going to fall apart soon...
It's either this or a Hooker Aero/Dynomax VT or maybe a G35 muffler...
Thanks!
Jeremy
