They appear to be made in the CHINA....more than likely.....they should've included 85-88 & 89-94 since the suspensions are almost identical....but if they got the info/typo **** wrong, you think they got everything else right? Doubt it but they like nice but I'm not into pillow block bearings, I prefer a setup like Cattman/Progress with strut mounts.....Yellow, isn't that a song?

Yeah I figured it was too good to be true lol. It was so late I completely over looked the a31... even though I went over the description a couple times.

still wont work on a 3rd gen without major modding, as far as i know one guy with a VE made custom coilovers and made them fit but thats it

Don't know I wish there was a specific picture......for the 3rd Gen! So why is it so difficult to put modified shocks with perch hats and Eibach 2.5" springs.....??????

Yeah after installing my intrax springs last week I saw why these wouldn't fit our cars. That rear strut assembly makes it pretty much impossible. I doubt its double.

Im fairly new to the forum and still trying to figure out how to navigate around here. Im looking for a new suspension for my 92 max and was wondering if anyone can put me in the right direction? I was thinking eibach with tokico struts maybe? I have 18" rims on the car and the tires are 40's and 245 wide. I had to put .25" spacers to make it work. I wouldnt be looking for a drastic drop .aybe just 1" or 1.5" so that theres no rubbing on the wheel wells. after the suspension goes in im also looking to put a stillen body kit on it. I think it looks pretty sleek. Im in Ontario and i found the combo's in the States are much cheaper for the same product but if the price was right id buy here in Canada too.Im looking for something that would fit nice with good handling. Any suggestions out there would be much appreciated.

Koni and Tokico struts for 3rd gens are discontinued, ive checked allover North America and nobody has any in stock. you would have to find someone with a used set which alone is nearly impossible

youre basically stuck with with KYB, Monroe, etc

yep.. it's a shame really. and from what i've heard all the "good" drop spring brands pulled out of 3rd gens too didn't they?

hmmm.... i'm impressed they actually said "J30" and "89-94" this time... AND they have a higher front spring rate than rear, which is consistent with a FWD car. As a comparison, my z31 has 50/50 front/rear weight distribution, and all of the stock spring varieties that i know of have the rear springs about 10-20% stiffer than the fronts. Those might actually be worth messaging the seller about...

you can get the odd Ksport springs but not GT's with the bigger drop like mine and Eibach pulled out.

give it 5 years and there will be nothing for 3rd gens

K-sports website lists two different part #'s for Nissan Maxima years 89-94. One says USA market, the other says Intl. Both part #'s are very similar. The one posted in the auction is listed as the intl. version, which I would assume is the A31. The website does NOT list a chassis code for either part #.

http://www.ksportusa.com/asp/coilove...roduct_id=cd01

Intl. Part # listed on the ebay listing is: CNS030-KP
USA Part # is listed as: CNS03-KP.

I have serious doubts that either will work for the J30 chassis; more than likely it was just an error on K-Sport's part and both items are probably one and the same.
