I bought my car with 116k miles, and it was bone stock, after i fixed a couple of things i joined here to see whats up then i pushed it... and it always made a "clicking" and some clonks sounds after i pushed it not very hard, as if the metal (aluminum) is contrapting, but now with 189k is not doing it anymore, and i push it harder sometimes, why ?

Did u ever think of adjusting the valves? From what I understand Nissan uses shims to adjust the valves, atleast that's what my buddies 240 uses.
Not too sure if the VQ30DE does too, I'm still a Nissan Noob.

 

Do you mean the little "tink tink tink" after you shut it off?

 

yeah, it goes like tink tink tink like the metal is contrampting/expanding or something, just wondering why it dosent do it anymore .
