Cluster Led Stuff

If you bought the NEO 5 Bulbs from superbrightleds.com even i you get the white ones, they will Look blue, I had to do this to get the White to show through.
Then I had to remove the BLUE coating with a dremel and a buffing wheel, I did not remove the needles, i just removed the 2 screws on the face and spun the face around to sand the coating off.Careful doing this you can melt them very easily, Just gota get the blue off the numbers where you want white light.

If you mess up your needles and get a new cluster you can take your Mem chip off your old cluster and put it on your new one to save your milage.

Inside view of the LEDS

Ill post night time pics later when it gets dark, Any questions, Just pm me or ask in the Chat box or in this thread. Ill do my best to answer them.

Ok, I went outside, installed the cluster, Brought my coat and draped it over the cluster and wheel and took some pics, Here is the outcome, They used to be blue, Just removing the coating reveals This.!!

AND Yes, All My Gauges still work.
The scratchy ness you see is from the clear cover over the gauges.
The camera just caught it but you cant see it normally.

Those are the ones, The NeoX ones, I got Neo 5 for the cluster and neo4 for my AC controls.
I do not know what the 4th gen takes, you would have to open it up and see.
