Spoilers

Hey again! Just wondering for future reference, cuz once i finally get some $$ to spend, i wanna change my rear spoiler on my '92 SE. I dont really wanna go stock again though. Anyone have any idea of what would look good, but that will also fit where the holes from the stock one are. Any suggestions would be great, thanx, lata!

And im still lookin'for a good price on some chrome rims for after the winter...

about the holes

only a stock spoiler is prbably gonna cover them up, so youll probably have to get them lifted just make sure the guy welds them and doesnt just bondo over them.

My Store XRR Custom Designs <-- spoilers
XRR Custom Designs Wheels <--- Wheels

We have chrome rims but I think youll find that black Ice ice a way nicer finish.
See.. and It cost less than chrome and shines just as much.

Hi, yeah I dont think that there is going to be any spoiler that'll fit into the stock holes. I have a Wings West touring spoiler which required the drilling of new holes. I had a stock spoiler before, so I sill have the holes on the trunk lid. Sometime soon I'm gonna have to get them filled in or something. If you are interested in a touring spoiler. The size you'll need is 61", which is what I have.

I know the Stillen GT spoiler looks good on our cars. Find the profile for nstymax93, he has this wing on his car with pics on his cardomain site.

I can't find a 61" Touring Wing. The biggest I've found is 54" for $175. A good deal, but it would look kinda dumb being so small and all. Where did you get yours and about how much money did it cost?

On the subject…

Question…

I have a stock spoiler, but the lights in the brakelight don't work. I checked the fuses, and they're fine. I also replaced the bulbs, because they looked shot, but they still don't come on when I hit the brakes. Any advice? Everything else is fine - (knock on wood)

I't's a highly modified J-spec MAXIMA or Aussie Spec, either way it has a inline SKYLINE Twin Turbo 6cyl transplanted in it. Look at the rear tail section, same as our 3rdGen. Say hello to a RWD 600+hp MAXIMA other wise known as a J30. Unfortunately that was the only 3 pictures I could find on it.

I'd love to claim that car for Australia but I can't.

Its looks to me like an A31 Cefiro based in Japan (note J-plate). Built during the same period as the J30 Maxima (hence some styling cues) but the two cars are completely unrelated to each other. The A31 runs RWD with stock RB20DET's and has a cult following similar to the AE86 with some Japanese drifters. That particular example has an RB26DETT with some aftermarket turbo set-up (HKS?).

I foolishly played with a modified A31 here once in my '90 but it was over fairly quickly. Cool cars with headlights that would look great on a Max

IP do you know any sites in english also for jspec motors and trannies from Japan?

I saw your post about the a31 cefiro, and was wondering if you or MR Rose might know of any sites where one might be able to purchase either a full r32 skyline, or simply motors, and trannies. I used to have a few of them that were in Japan, even an auction site for r32, r33, r34 sklines, Mitsu GTO's, 300z Fairladies, Lancers, etc. but I lost it when I had to format and reload Winblows I mean windows.

Thanks,
Jared
