I followed that exact write-up and was done in about 1.5 hrs. Take your time. Clean your TB while you have it off.

Grab A34 valve covers beforehand. You might as well change them while the plenum is off. Relatively inexpensive. Just changed mine last weekend. Finally.

Relevant disclaimer: Research cleaning these TBs before you do it. You don't want to regret incorrect procedure after the fact with these expensive guys.

Be careful to torque the plugs to the recommended OEM specs

I clean my TB every time I change my plugs.

And don't "lol" because it's annoying.

It's not as bad as a 4th gen. Just give yourself time and keep track of the fasteners. All of the electrical connections are color coded or it's obvious where they plug back in. You could also look into getting some spacers from Aaron. The only additional thing you'll have to do is take off the lower intake manifold(LIM).

How often do you change your plugs???

Cleaning the TB is a definite 'must'. Knowing how to do it properly is as well.
