BC Racing coilover gurus step on in pls....

Whats up everybody, I just finished installing my rear BC coilovers and was wondering if anyone had trouble adjusting the height?. Did not want to bring it up on the other thread that is out already. I had a tremendous amount of noise and it took all of my 240LBS to adjust. It is currently not at the height I want it because I was afraid of stripping and/or damaging something. Is their something that I'm doing wrong? I have some pics also. Thanks for any advice and help in advance. By the way, it was doing it on the passenger side not the drivers side, drivers started to make a little noise but nothing that compares.

It looks all right to me, my front passenger is stuck and I can't adjust it. I've slammed it with a hammer a bunch of times, put pb on it over night. My last resort is a torch. Maybe u have left and right switched? That shouldn't make a ton of noise though.

I believe both sides are the same, I put the L+R marking on it. They are switched. I was thinking of putting some turbine oil or something.

So you never broke any of the collars loose? I put a breaker bar on the end of mine to break them loose once on the car. Also I did have trouble adjusting hieght with them fully installed. I had to undo the bottom bolt, change height, then raise the rear beam up. First time by myself was a PITA. Hope this helps.

Edit: did you do the 5mm preload the factory calls for?

Yes I did that 5mm preload, I have to redo the fronts again, I believe I did it wrong on the fronts, ride is a bit bouncy. Yes, the collars were very loose. I should've recorded the noise, but was too mad at the time.

Only the front driver does it. I havent had time to check since we have gotten like 20 inches of rain in the last few weeks. Just wont stop.

Oh no, the loud sound is from adjusting the height, not the car in motion.
