After Market Stereo Question...

Hooked up an aftermarket stereo in my 02' and everything is working fine. Only question i have is if i can hook up my steering wheel controls. Really just wanting my "Trip" button to work...could care less about the others.. anyone know how to get it working again?

I felt the exact same way when I installed mine. Basically for the trip button to work, all you have to do is ground the black wire that is on that harness (that originally plugged into the bose HU). So cut it, find a good place to ground the wire and you should be good.

you need a PAC adapterhttp://www.pac-audio.com/Products.aspx?CategoryId=29 to control the radio if your model has the external remote jack.also i think the trip function is the brown and black wire on the small white plug.

I was going to get the PAC module.. Until I found the Metra Axcess: http://www.amazon.com/Metra-ASWC-Uni.../dp/B0039H2W66

It's universal and auto detects (usually) your radio and there is no delay that the PAC units had..

I had a PAC adapter but after thinking about it I returned it and just did the grounding mod to retain control of the trip functions.
