Ebay 91 GXEs

Okay, fellas..I've got two ideas here. 1) I can buy this car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...605765&r=0&t=0 and replace the broken windshield with mine, same with the rear fender. OR 2)I can buy this car http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...ndexURL=0&rd=1 and transplant the engine, if it's in good shape. (I emailed the seller to find out.) Hopefully, it won't come to this and my current Max will be okay, but it's looking doubtful...it's giving me tons of trouble. Any input as to why either of these plans won't work? (Besides the fact that I'm a poor bastard) Thanks.

Re: Ebay 91 GXEs

I don't think this is the best way to purchase a car...but if it's the only way you're looking at...you should definately go for the first one over the second one. I'm not exactly a fan of the beige interior...but it would be a better choice. Especially if you are replacing your car because of problems (if they are engine problems). The second car seemed like way too many problems and WAY too much of a risk on purchasing. I would still recommend going to dealership, or, if you don't like how the dealerships up their prices so they can "advertise, clean, blah blah blah" try looking in the newspaper or online. Yahoo has an area that allows you to look at cars up for sale in your area. Anything you decide is your choice, goodluck and Happy Holidays!

Thanks guys. I think I'll scrap those Maxes. I found an 89 Chrysler Conquest (Turbo) TSI. It's rear wheel drive and a 5spd. I'll probably just get my car running again and sell it before something else happens.
