Need help locating EGR componets on a 01

Im trying to locate my egr parts, i've looked through all the diagrams on this forum but I found alot of 4thgen pics. Unfortunatly the egr parts must be totally diffrent on my 01..

Is it possible for my 01 not to have a EGR setup?

Im getting a slight leak sound when I rev and the RPMs drop, also getting a slight oder in the car If I have the air on.

I checked everything as I first I thought it was exhaust , but found thats not the case.

Im thinking its the egr but I cant seem to find it, theres no tube coming off the headers.

Heres one diagram I found , but it doesnt resemble my car at all ?

My car does have this which I found labled as the egr block off plate. But I dont think it would be possible for anything to leak from there since thats were the egr dumps into correct?

gottchya, just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing it.

Now does that mean the bracket on the drivers side of my rear head is also a block plate ?
( since the block off I pictured above is the intake mani side of it )

or would the egr be fed from the header it self.

Just trying to rule out any spot that exhaust could leak out ....

In the Maxima with the VQ30DE-K 2001 the EGR doesn't exist. That piece it's just like a decoration or a support for the Intake, that's all.

so theres no other spots exhaust can leak from besides the exhaust manifolds down correct?

Im getting a oder in the car that is definatly nothing else but emissions. And when I rev and let the rpms drop you can really notice a tisk tisk tisk sound...

Could It be possible I overtighned my exhaust manifolds ??
