Hello everyone.

Can anyone help out...trying to figure out if my car has been painted or not.

I bought clear corners for my 98 max SE. The first piece that you just pop off with out screwing off is held to the body by this little white plastic anchor that the corner light presses into.

However, when I took my lights off, that white ancor had a think layer of black paint on it that kinda scrapes off. This led me to belive that the bumper has been painted before and someone did not take off the anchor before painting.

Does anyone else remember this? or can you let me know? Thanks,

When I took apart my lights for the blinker mod I dont think I remeber anything like that.

mine does the same thing except its comming off in the fog light holes. I think its just the paint flaking off. Its probably Nissans cheap paint since when we bought the car new, the clearcoat was already peeling off the bumper so they replaces it with a new one. thats why my bumper is darker than the rest of the car.
