I am not 100% sure, but I heard foglights cannt be used unless it is raining or foggy conditions.

There is a law like that in Europe, but here in Illinois you can have them on all the time.

He didn't give me a ticket but I think he thought that they were aftermarket fog lights beacuse of how bright they were.

If your fog lights are misaimed and blinding oncoming drivers, then it is illegal. Unfortunately, on 4th gens, properly aimed fog and headlamps means very little usable light on the road (well, lots of it like ten feet in front of the car, which is pretty worthless).

You will have to tweak those headlamps and fogs to aim a bit higher than stock, but not blind opposite traffic too much.

NJ LAWS

I know in NJ, you can't have them ON if they are not called for, (Rain, Fog.....)

Also having more than one set is Illegal so this car can be ticketed.!
I don't right the laws I just report them.

Ooh...

Looks nice Megamax. In your 3rd and 4th pics you can't see the corner lights - the car look like a sleeper. I like it with the fogs off. Really sweet man, and the bulbs match perfectly.

Wow, MegaMax, that looks pretty good... Is it just the way the pic came out or, is there really a little yellow in the light from an angle?
Can you break down what brand, model, wattage headlight and parking light you are using?
I am looking for some Completely white, no yellow, no blue headlights... thank u

factory lights are the bulbs that came with the car when purchased. aftermarket lights are ones sold by other companies like PIAA or Polarg. you can buy yellow aftermarket bulbs for you fog lights.

Every state is different, as you can see by the various posts. In MA, the fogs can only be used when "atmospheric conditions are present that reduce normal visibility." So rain, snow, sleet, fog, etc are fine, but on a perfectly clear night they are illegal.

I am not too sure what kind they are, but I know I got the best ones they had at the performance shop by my house. If I find the package I will let you know.

As far as I know the 1400 series come with either driving or fog lights. The driving are wider and shorter, the fogs are narrow and long. Hope this helps!
