Anyone broke their glove box...?

Soo the other day, I was trying to remove my glovebox (without using any guides, shame on me) and ended up popping it out. All was well, but as it turns out, I completely screwed it up and broke the hinges

. It's not a big inconvenience, but it would be nice to replace it... When I open it it kind of "clunks" down instead of nicely coming down.

I did the same thing when I tried to find the HVAC filter.

There is a white mechanical device on the left side of the glove box door. It can only be seen when the assy. is removed. I can't remember for sure, but I think there is a tiny cable that attaches to the door and perhaps it has popped off. It's easy enough to take it back out and investigate.

Broke mine about two months before my accident while changing the cabin filter. That **** would rattle and vibrate. Drove me nuts, but that F-150 put an end to that concern.

RIP.

Yeah it rattles a LOT which is a ***** because I just got rid of a few huge rattles I've had for years. Damnit. Looks like I'll have to head to the junkyard
