my sick dual exhaust!

i don't have the car done yet. i finally got all the BS worked out with my fund so i have the $ now. it's gonna be done tuesday. here are some pics of the mufflers that i got for it. still really nice. OH, fyi, these are on sale from 160 to 100 from www.speedpeople.com and they have free shipping. they came with silencers. not bad for 100 apiece.

um ok, what happened to the attach file thing? what the heck. . .

yeah, i was gonna do DTM but these were on sale from 160 to 100 AND they came with silencers. this way if it's too insanely loud, at least i'll be able to dampen it somewhat. . ..

the original quote, with a 3" Y pipe, high flow cat, then piping back to 2 DTM mufflers all mandrel bent and SS was 800 bucks. those mufflers were 161 apiece, but i got these for 200 for both. so im looking at about 480 plus mufflers. But it is the whole exhaust.

I don't think it's as crazy as it sounds, since it's 3" at the Y, but it'll have to be down to 2.5" or so into the mufflers since the mufflers have that inlet size. Doesn't sound like a bad plan to me.

chris91SE is gonna post em for me. i gotta go get it in a little bit. it should be done soon. last night the high flow cat was late coming in from the parts place so he got a pretty late start on it. when i walked in to the shop, he had all my old junk exhaust off and was doing some measuring. he said he was just waiting for the CAT. soon very soon!!!! the pics are gonna be blurry cause the digi cam i have is a POS. it's just one of those cheap ones you have to hold real still, but i'll still get something out asap till i get back to school and can use my roommate's nice cam.
