I got one from them a few weeks ago. The one that came in the box looked like an ebay strut bar.

ebay has um that cheap and cheaper most the time also... its the very generic version... some people think its all you need and it doesnt have to be fancy. i think its a poor design and shouldnt be bought but hey, its only $25!

I mean, its a single bar that ties two points together.. I think for a strut bar like that it shouldn't cost any more than 25 bucks no matter who makes it. Now I could see paying a good bit for a 3 point one that also bolts to the fire wall but hey.

still pretty new to Maximas and unexperienced with them, do these strut bars make much of a difference/are they worth it?

My max definitely could use an upgrade in the strut/shock department as it seems real floaty and uncontrollable around bumpy corners, but the money just isn't there right now for me to shell out, so I was wondering if these would help a little for the time being.

dont buy that piece of $hit. spend a little more and get a better quality 3 piece bar. and yes, the car wont roll as much after you put one on. do your suspension and you'll love driving the car.

STBs do make a difference....not a huge one, but for the price its a cheap mod. Double check your swaybar end links. I have a 98 Maxima GLE and didn't know both front links are busted. My car still handles ok but i acquired the car at ~140K and only have have 168K after 4 years. They could have been busted when I got it. I just purchased new links from Rockauto, Moog for $19 ea. Cheap repair if you ask me.

That's a really pretty bar.
For kicks, go here: http://www.cattman.com/
Click on Front strut tower bar on the left menu, and get a titanium bar.

Stillen makes a pretty bar too: http://stillen.com/product_files/307010~inst.pdf

Lol, I don't think the Maxima Community was ready for them anyways. I hope he comes out with them again, do some marketing, and change the pricing. It's got potential!
