IT MOVES EVERY DIRECTION EXCEPT FORWARD & BACKWARDS.

THEN EVERY FEW MONTHS IT DECIDES TO WORK(forward & backwards), UNTIL THE NEXT TIME I TURN THE CAR OFF.

ANYONE ELSE GET THIS BEFORE?

(otherwise its always fine, up/down/tilt/etc.... just not forward & back.)

 

The brushes in the motor could be sticking in their guides. If you tap the motor on the end where the brushes are and the motor works, then that would be the problem. You could also have a bad switch.

Better yet, get a volt meter and start checking at the motor. Voltage present and motor no workee equals bad motor. No voltage at motor equals bad switch.

 

its weird, because when i click the switch to make it go forward or back i hear the relay CLICK as its getting power.
im gonna try the motor brush tap.
