Hi everyone. I bought a R2C intake recently and installed, drove it for a couple days, and removed it. Why? Too loud. Not my taste anymore. I guess I enjoy more exhaust note than intake. It does have an awesome growl at low end...no drone. But screams under WOT. Anyway, the filter looks brand new and the only detractor from the unit is the shroud foam has a small tear right where a strut tower brace would run through.(cause). It does not seem to affect sealing if you're not running a brace though, as it's still there. Hence the price. It's black powdercoat.
