wats faster? auto 97GLE or 2001 SE AE

wats faster
my boy with a 2001SE AE
is gonna come here
i want to know now if he's faster then me
i think i can take.. him..
i want to know from someone outta experience
not wat they think..... cause i been in his car
and it dont see soo fast...

According to the numbers, the 2001 weighs about the same ( a little heavier, but not significant), and is 37hp faster.

Depends on what mods you have, and whether or not either of you have sticks, and driving ability, of course.

But stock vs stock with the same trannie? He'd own you.

Not true. The 4th and 5th gens are equally fast.

The 5 speed 5th gens I can pull on disagree. (BTW, they weight 50 lbs.)

still, though... are they really worth it? they look really sweet, but is it worth that much reduced performance?

Strangely enough, I can pull faster 1/4 mile times with my 17s than I can with my 15s.

Either your 17's are lighter, or because you're getting too much wheelspin with the 15's. Or you just have better tired on the 17's

It means that it's slooow. Easy way to win is to tell him to leave it in drive and mash the pedal. You do the same and you should win
