Anyone running 370z sport 19's?

I know there are people with 5th gens running the wheels. I know they will fit...but I want to know what size tires you are running in the font and rear? If you have pics that would be great. I will roll my fenders but I don't want to have to pull them. My car will be lowered but not slammed to the ground. For those that don't know the size on these wheels.

Front 19x9 +47
Rear 19x10 +30

*I know prince drew is running a 245 in the rear on his 5th gen with these wheels. I am hoping I can run a wider tire than that.

Please feel free to chime in with good info. Thanks.

8" wheels belong to civics, his offset is 30 on a 10" rim. much more aggressive

I haven't experimented with 5th gen's myself but I do know that the wheel wells are a little bigger. In my 4th gen, I ran 245's on 10" with a +35 on an aggressive drop and rolled lips. it rubbed slightly only when I had passengers. So im gonna have to say that 245 is a safe bet knowing that 5th gens are a bit more forgiving and you might be able to get away with 255 too.

8" wheels do not belong to civics, I don't understand this statement at all, that's why I asked WTF you are talking about. No civics come with an 8" wheel.

And a +30 offset on a 10" rim is not that agressive of an offset at all IMO.

yeah I know I have 245's on my 8.5" wheels and they fit well. I want to run a wider tire, and I was hoping to find people that have already done it so I can be sure they will fit....tires arent cheap

uhh, the wheel wells of the maxima fit wheels far wider than 8", specially 5th gen. why throw such narrow wheels on there?

a +30 10" is not that aggressive compared to an 8"? oh okay cool

even if they clear the calipers/shocks, they will be sunken battleships and the rears poked out A LOT more. you will end up needing a 15-20mm spacer to have the same flushness all around

well like i said you can probably get away with a 255 too but why do you want to run such wide tire on the rears of a FWD car? 245's wont strech all that much on a 10" and running significantly wider tire in the rear than front is not all that of a good idea.

Oh so you're simply saying that a 8" wheel fits a civic, and a 10" wheel fits a Maxima. And implying that anyone who installs anything less than a 10" wheel on a maxima should go buy a civic cause they clearly don't know how to mod a car

I'm just jabbing at you, but I really didn't get what you were trying to get across there, now that I've got it cleared up I'll bail out of this thread and let you carry on.

And speaking about agressiveness of an offset, myself and seems like most others consider Agressive Offsets to be ones that push the wheel out farther (street side). So NO, a +30 on a 10" rim certainly wouldn't be considered 'agressive', in fact, it would be pretty much standard for that size of rim. Now a +45 10" would be agressive to be sure.

your logic is so flawed, It makes me think that you're joking.

"Standard?" what is that?

I didn't say you defined agressive...
I just told you what I considered to be the definition of agressive offset, based on what I thought was the common definition/use of the term... Perhaps I'm misinformed?

stand·ard - an object that is regarded as the usual or most common size or form of its kind. ex: We stock the deluxe models as well as the standards.

Wouldn't you say that the most common offset for a 9-10" wheel is +30? I would think so but maybe I'm wrong here too I dunno.

You're right. I wrote that out thinking about it backwards for some reason, obviously lower offset is more agressive .

In either case, any 10" rim on the Maxima is agressive, regardless of the offset, tire size, or any other factors IMO.

No I wouldn't. I know what the word means but your use of it in this case is meaningless. There are no "standard" aggressive fitments, it is completly vehicle specific.

So you made all these posts only to conclude what I initially said in this thread 50 posts ago?

Do have any pics of 245 or 255's on a 10" wide wheel?

I am hoping to find out some good information with this thread not listen you you an tunermax argue about civic fitment or not.

what you see in my avatar is a 245/40-18 on a 10". Depending on aspect ratio, the strech will be slightly different on a 19" wheel.

19x10 245/35

Dam that is some crazy tight wheel gap. I need bigger tires on my max just put 245/45/17 on mine fit very well plus I have snow to deal with

One thing you could do is use a tire calculator website. It will tell you easy dimensions like tire is 27" tall and 11" wide then just measure what you got now on the car and see how far bigger you can go and still tuck it in there. Good luck and would like to see em on after your done

so is anyone running a 255 tire on a 10" wheel in the rear of a fifth gen? I really would like to be able to fit a 255 since most tire manufactures say that is the widest wheel you can put a 255 on.

the higher the offset number the further on does the wheel sit right?

That meaning the lower the offset the further out the wheel sticks, correct?

So a 19x10 with +22 offset would be pretty aggressive... such as a certain type of Tenzo Type M wheels someone is running on here haha.

You got that backwards there buddy the lower the offset the more out the wheel sits.

Btw he's going to need spacers in front that offset is too high for 9" for the front, 10mm spacers would be good. Run 235/40 front and 245/40 in the rear anything bigger is just retarded! You're not a truck and if that tire is too "small" for you and you want more tire get smaller rims because 19s with big *** tires = complete fail!

what I am looking at right now for the rear is a 255/40 and for the front a 235/35
You know how stupid that will look! Your rear is going to be so much bigger then your front, run the tire sizes I recommended above.

I don't quite understand how that is "so much bigger"? You understand the front a rear wheels are different sizes right? Also, I don't see where you have posted in this thread so I am not sure what tire sizes you are talking about.

255/40 fits 8.5-10". there is a 1.5" difference in the the overall diameter of these two tires. at least step it to 235/40....... try to get the same tire width/rim width ratio for front and back so the tires strech evenly and the car sits even.

I understand what you are saying. I am running in to touble finding good tire options in those sizes. There are not as many tire options in a 235/40 as there are with a 235/35.

thats how 19's are.. they are expensive and rare. When I was shopping for tires for my nismo wheels I ended up paying about $900 out the door for a set of Toyo's in 255/35. just not worth it when i re-think that decision

not all of them, if you get a more common size. 255/40's are cheaper and available in more tires than a 255/35. Same with 235/35's they are cheaper and available in more tires than 235/40's. Don't worry I am not spending 900 on tires.
