i want to get an new muffler and i came by the Weapon R, anyone has it, is it loud cause they say it comes with a silencer, whats that.

 

the weapon-r muffler will be loud as are all straigth-through mufflers (by straight-through I mean look into the hole and if it looks like a broken non-zooming telescope (you can see right through it), its straight through)

a silencer is something that you stick into the hole in your weapon-r muffler to quiet it down when you dont want that "look at me" feeling, or when your head starts pounding on your daily drives...like mine does. I got a straight-trhough PILOT muffler a year ago and now my head hurts every damn time I drive my car, Im starting to enjoy my dads 4-cyl tacoma because its so freaking quiet YEESH!

im about to get a straight-through muffler but ONLY ONLY with a silencer, Ive been looking around the org and no one can give a straight answer about how it sounds with the silencer on.

I have a OBX Tunable Bomb Muffler on my Max. When i got it off of ebay it came with the silencer in the muffler. When i got the cat-back exhaust system it wasnt all that loud. It really wasnt. If you tune the baffles on the silencer it can vary. When i ripped the silencrr out (which was extreemly hard to do) It got MUCH louder, A very big difference in power and sound. Also when the silencer is in its more interior noice than extrerior. Hope i helped and questions just ask.

huh? when the silencer is on there is more interior noise???
how is that possible?

I thought the silencer muffles the sound all around, meaning that it makes the muffler quiet alltogether?

im currently making a silencer for my bullet-type muffler (doesnt look too hard, got all the measurements already).

can you explain why and how there is more interior noise??
