Need advice

Here is the problem my freind haves a 2002 i35 . The problem is the catiylic converts are bad . Both of them the ones from the exhaust manifolds front & back . We were looking for headers but know one is making headers no more . They are $1200 to replace them with stock ones . Anyone haves any advice what to do here.. Cause $1200 for cats is crazy . I rather put headers !! Anybody have advice or suggestions ?? Please help thanks .

The only choose you really have are OBX headers.

You can gut the catalytic converters instead...

You can always get some shorty headers with y-pipe can't you?

The unequal length obx headers are still available they are listed under 95-99 or 95-01 maxima but they will fit 100% and to be honest I prefer the unequal length sound plus I think they fit better then the equal length which require some mods, someone correct me if I'm wrong

you could go onto summit or jeggs and get short high flow universal cats and weld them in place of the bad ones, thats what i did on my old max, worked out great and was a lot cheeper then headers or a new y-pipe
