wow u can get a used altima hybrid for fairly cheap, 35 mpg would rock.
now I'm imagining this altima hybrid with a maxima a35 body, WOW!!
it could've easily been done since maxima shares the same platform at altima, I'd gladly lose the horse power to get 35 mpg.

But then they would have to probably make a non hybrid and gas only version which might raise costs. If the Max was a high volume car then they probably wouldve been made a hybrid. Maybe the next gen will bring a hybrid.

Maybe the next gen will bring a hybrid.The M hybrid has the same engine as the Maxima, has 360 combined horsepower, and gets 27mpg city/32mpg highway. Though in a different price range, it shows Nissan's potential. So, if/when Nissan makes a hybrid Maxima, it should be good.
