recently got into an accident

heres the last picture of my car before...

On Monday earlier this week i got into an accident. no one was hurt. actually I'm pretty impressed with my car: after seeing the damage, i should be hurt. for those of you that know the warwick, RI area:

it was on rt. 2 heading from burger king towards the malls. I was at a red light in front of chipotle and it turned green. theres another light close that was also green. a woman pulls out of bernie and phyls parking lot taking a left turn into traffic that had the right of way. i hit her. we are pretty sure it was her fault.

and looking at it the day after...its definitely totaled :'(

Sorry to hear what happened, and glad to here that you're o.k.. I can see in one of the pics that your airbags deployed. Unfortunately, there's a high chance the insurance company will total it out because of the airbags.

Is that a CompUSA store I see in the background?

But yea lucky no one got hurt. Airbags deployed + complete front end = totaled for sure.

Same thing happened to me with virtually the same exact damage. Get the cash, buy the car back, fix it for cheap, end up in the green.

you think fix it? everyone says buy it back take all my mods and put it in another 5.5 gen. i guess i agree. theres frame damage...even the strut tower weld came apart. it would never be structurally sound again. the car ment the world to me but if i cant be 100% sure the cars just as safe as it was in the first place im not sure i wanna do it. those headlights took 6 months tho! i might be buying a fellow org members max if its relatively soon. i end up in the green this way too cus this one has some mods i wanted.

glad to hear you are OK. Hate how some people try to beat traffic when making a left.

the frame can be pulled out, the radiator support can be rewelded. your car can be fixed.

I had a similar accident with my max and $2800 of insurance money and a month, the max was back on the road. That was back in may.

If u can still drive it then it can be fixed.

Bear in mind, u will need new ac components like drier and hoses. Prolly cost 3500 for everything.
