Red Intelliglo Needles / Guage Rings installed - WOW!

Finished installing my chrome guage rings and red intelliglo needle kit from ImportIntelligence.com. The install of the needle kit was a pretty big pain in the a$$ (5-6 hours!) cause the directions were very poor and I had to figure out how to do it all on my own, but I eventually figured it all out and got it working properly. The rings were a sinch to install once I got the gauge cluster out.

Anyway, I've got to say -- the rings and needles look FRIGGING FANTASTIC, alone and together! The glow is a perfect red that shines on the rings at night. With my white face guages and the white backlit numbering, the result is really beautiful. Looks great in the day, too -- the needles have a nice red glow.

I would DEFINITELY recommend both mods to pretty much EVERYONE. It may not add any horsepower or anything, but you look at your gauges THE ENTIRE TIME you drive your car. It's what you look at most besides the road, so it might as well look good, right? In fact, this mod has inspired me to work on my interior of my car before I do anything else since I figure that's what I look at all the time. Leather seats and aluminium dash kit here I come!

Oh, and sorry, no pics -- I don't have a digicam. Hopefully I'll be able to get some pics up for you peeps soon.

Congratulations on the mod!

I have the aluminum guage bezel to match my aluminum dash. I was thinking about adding chrome gauge rings. Where did you get them and for how much? If the price is right, I might add them to my set up. I've heard they run kinda expensive though.
Let me know, thanks...

No, can't do it -- I'm going to be in Salt Lake City, Utah (Deer Valley, actually -- about an hour into the mountains) skiing! Sorry I can't make it, man. You'll have to see them some other time.

Oh, hey -- sorry for not following you and Ossamah (Oss's car looks SO good with the body kit!) the other day on 75. I was on a date -- we were headed to putt-putt. (Actually, we ended up in the same general area as you guys). I don't know if you saw her, but she's this FINE half Philippino girl. Really cool, too. It was a good date -- we played mini-golf and then made out.

I got them from a member on the board for $60 shipped. Honestly, what I wanted were the aluminium ones, but I wasn't really too concerned with it. The chrome rings look really good, and I think they'll go fine with a dash kit, though I haven't seen any aluminium ones, so I can't say for sure.

I would just post a message in the For Sale / Wanted forums and in the General Maxima Discussion forum saying you want a set -- that's what I did.

Cool, too bad you don't a pic though. I should get my blue needle kit soon. I'll post some pics when I install them.

Yeah, it's frustrating. Hopefully at the next meet in Atlanta (where I live) I'll be able to get a pic taken so you guys can see what it looks like in red.

I've actually seen the blue AND the red, and I have to say that the red looks better to me. Although, I'm going for a black/red theme in my car, so I'm probably totally biased. The blue looks really great, too!

Yeah Micah, glad you gots yours on. Just the other day I put on my aluminum bezel, gauge rings, and reverse indiglos to go with my blue intelliglo needles and it looks SHARP, different from others and that is what us Maxima owners need. But glad you got it on. Took me a total of one hour to put everything on because I already knew how to do the needles from a previous Nissan vehicle.
