Hi, just wondering, my 2010 max is now around 19k kilometer (11k miles I guess) and I just looked closely to the front bumper and I see that the clear seems to start to peel off in a couple differents spots...

plus I had the driver seat base (motors etc..) dealer changed it under warranty at 5k but the problem was not a 100% solve, I still could feel the back of the seat was loos but of course, the dealer couldn't see any problem. They said : You know, there is a lot of mechanism inside of the base of the seat, it is normal to have some loos on it.... blablabla. But meanwhile, it has became at least as worse than it was before the 5k repair.

Also, there is a kind of prestone smell around the hood when the car is hot. Anyone has the same smell?

To finish, my brother showed to me last week that sometimes, when in relatively cold weather (under 4 celcius), when I start the car there is a good puff (for 2-3 seconds when you start the car cold) of nice blue smoke from the exhaust. Anyone has any idea? There's also the steering wheel, it kindly vibrate when the car is at idle, got some other cars and never experienced that, even on my last altima 2.5sl 2007 (well only on my first car, a nissan sentra 94..). Sometimes too, when at idle, the rpm can go down to 500rpm, making the engine vibrate.... anyway!

Still, I love my max but all these small issues make me doud't a little bit. Don't want to get in a love hate relationship!

 

Also, there is a squeek on the rear of the car when I pass bumps....

 

the squeak in the rear is probably the bushings on the sway bar. Covered under warranty. Take it back to the dealer and get that fixed. Cant help you on the other stuff.
