Also

You might also try taking the rims off the tires and putting them in the trunk, securely. Happened to my friend the other day, and it worked for him.

The other night i called CAA to unlock my maxima 1994. I had no choice as both my locks are broken.

Problem is this set off the alarm. This is a problem because i used to use my key in the passenger door (before the lock broke) to turn it off.

Now every time i open the doors the alarm goes off.

what can I do?????

The guy I bought mine off of just undid the leads to the horn - but now the horn doesn't work. Well that isn't true, it goes off all the time when plugged in. I think this is what is causing my battery drain issue when I leave it at the airport for a week at a time.

I have issues with my driver door switch also, waiting to work on it until I do my soundproofing project next month. Have new window regulators for all the doors and will go through everything when the panels are off.

i took out the alarm plug thing in the front. it helped a bit. but i notice if you lock the door by accident when the doors are open, then the next time you open ur car door again when you get back to ur car, ur car alarm will go off, so u gotta stick the key in the door, sometimes the driverside door doesnt work, so you gotta look even more of a retard walking to the passenger door lmao. i remember this one time my alarm went off WHILE i was driving. doesnt act too crazy for me anymore cuz i took the plug out in the front. it only goes off for me if i accidently locked the door while the door bein open.

i think thats what i unplugged, but it only goes off now when i lock the door when the door is open on accident. unless the anti theft box plug is different, i think thats what i pulled, probably take another look at it tmr.

if you unplugged the factory box, the factory alarm does nothing anymore. I tried it.

My wifes car...

She has to open the trunk before opening the door else the alarm goes off. One day I will get the switch fixed in the door.
